The percentage of people without health insurance by age group:
Under 18 = 9%
18 to 24 = 28%
25 to 34 = 26%
35 to 44 = 19%
45 to 64 = 13%
With these kind of numbers what does it mean?
As you get older you need insurance?
As you get older you have more money and can buy insurance?
One thing for sure - a lot of people under 18 have insurance!!

It means that people under the age of 18 are under their parent's health insurance plan (so long as they have insurance that is).
The median age is where it hurts the most.
Then you get into the older years where people are established in one way or another be it with a secure job or retirement, so the numbers decrease.
Please don't remind me that we are coming of age of the latter LOL!
So, what are your thoughts on this :)
Under 18 = Parent's insurance or state sponsored.
18 and over = Low paying job w/o benefits or don't want/need insurance or can't pay for insurance.
over 35 = better job or have kids and need insurance and can pay for it.
