I'm sorry.

I told my youngest son just that last week.

I'm sorry our generation is not fixing the financial problem he and his kids will be dealing with.

I'm sorry health insurance is non-functional.

I'm sorry I don't have all the answers.

I'm sorry I can't always spend all the time I can with you.

I'm sorry you rights are being slowly taken from us.

What would you say to your child?

Off the top of my head:

I’m sorry your dad had to deploy again. And I’m sorry this isn’t his last deployment.

I know you are both sad and mad that dad isn‘t here. I’m sad too. I’m sorry I can’t take your pain away. If I could, I would.

I’m sorry we aren’t going home this summer.

I’m sorry I keep tearing up when we watch High School Musical 1, 2 & 3 together. The same goes for The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe, along with Prince Caspian.
